This is placeholder content for Tailor's Terms and Conditions. Replace this file with the finalized terms before launch. By creating an account or otherwise using Tailor, an account holder agrees to be bound by these terms. If they do not agree, they should not use the product.
Tailor is intended for use by businesses and individuals acting in a business capacity, not by consumers acting solely in a personal capacity. An account holder must be able to form a binding contract to use the product.
An account represents a single business or individual using Tailor. Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.
A company may have multiple members with access to its data. Each member's level of access is controlled by the company's own settings. Tailor is not responsible for how a company chooses to configure access among its own members.
While using Tailor, an account holder agrees not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Companies using Tailor to store information about their own clients are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store that information, and for complying with any applicable data protection laws that apply to their own business and clients. Tailor acts as a processor of this data on the company's behalf.
Offer totals, taxes (if applicable), and line-item pricing shown to a company's clients are generated from data entered by that company. Tailor is not a party to the underlying transaction between a company and its client and is not responsible for the accuracy of pricing information entered by a company.
Describe billing terms, if any, once pricing is finalized. Placeholder: subscription fees, if applicable, would be billed in advance on a recurring basis, and would be non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in a separate order form.
If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand, subject to whatever notice terms are in effect at that time.
Fees, if any, are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Account holders are responsible for any taxes associated with their use of the product, other than taxes based on Tailor's own income.
Tailor and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the product itself, including its software, design, and trademarks. These terms do not grant any rights to use Tailor's branding except as necessary to use the product as intended. Companies retain ownership of the data they enter into the product.
We aim to keep Tailor available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned downtime may occur from time to time.
An account holder may stop using Tailor and request account deletion at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account if these terms are violated, if required by law, or if continued provision of the service becomes impractical, with notice where reasonably possible.
Upon termination, access to the account and its data may be disabled. Some data may be retained for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy.
The product is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tailor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the product.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the product after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
